I found this interesting infographic on the number of packages shipped in America.
Imagine if we were able to cut the number of packages shipped in half. We would save a lot of trees and importantly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released by the delivery trucks and planes.
Some practical ways we could reduce our deliveries would be to:
– Shop locally
– Combine shipments to receive less deliveries
– Pick up deliveries at places you’re already going to such as grocery lockers to reduce the shipping distances
